Dairy Chain - Milk processing

All milk accepted at the plant is subjected to the pasteurization process: a mild heat treatment which, while leaving the quality of milk unchanged, avoids the dangers resulting from the presence of pathogenic microorganisms and eliminates the microbial load. The milk produced daily by the Co-op’s farmers is selected on the basis of its qualitative characteristics and destined for the production of milk intended for consumption or cheese processing.
